THE NEIGHBORHOOD

I love the relaxing vibe of the area, the fact everything is close by,

the boulangeries, supermarkets, local shops and delis are just around the corner. I love finding little artisan shops and sitting back in one of the many cafés and watching the world float by. The buzz of the Saturday market in the Place Carnot, the traders with their abundance of seasonal, local produce and specialities as well as experiencing the two weekdays when the smaller markets are on.

GETTING AROUND

Public transport is great in this region, the train station is only a 12 minute walk away, through Place Carnot, at the end of one of the pedestrian shopping streets. There are lots of surrounding towns and attractions within the €1 train zone, absolutely fantastic!

The bus stop for the Airport is at the end of the Street, at 'Le Dome', plus the journey only takes 20 minutes and costs €5 single.

The town is ideal for walking, everything really is that close, the Canal du Midi, the Medieval 'La Cité', River Aude, shops, cafés, supermarkets, boutiques etc. are all on your door step.
